Appraisal
The oldest of Howard Hanna's ancillary companies, Hanna Appraisal Services has been in operation since 1968.
Fully computerized, Hanna Appraisal Services employs a full-time staff of experienced, certified professionals. To serve valuation needs more efficiently, the company has created one of the largest data bases in Pittsburgh. Appraisal Services also includes residential, commercial and industrial valuations.

Closing Services
Barristers is a title insurance agency that searches the public records and issues policies that protect the homeowner against defects in title, both recorded and unrecorded. All policies are fully insured and underwritten by either First American Title or Old Republic National Title.
Barristers also assists buyers and sellers with real estate closings. To expedite the process, Barristers obtains all necessary closing exhibits--tax certifications, lien letters, etc. and completes all necessary paperwork. It is Barristers goal to make the transaction a convenient and pleasurable experience by closing at the time and place convenient to all parties.

Mortgage Services
Howard Hanna Mortgage Services is western Pennsylvania's largest independent mortgage banker. Established in 1983, the company offers the area's largest selection of competitive mortgage programs from a wide range of national and local investors. From private banking products to fixed rate, adjustable rate and government loans, Howard Hanna Mortgage Services can customize a loan program to fit any buyer’s needs.
To accommodate their customers, Hanna Financial representatives are available to take applications seven days a week, including evenings. Initially, a prospective home buyer can be pre-approved for a loan, or can take advantage of Hanna's "Fast Track Loan" which provides a firm loan commitment to buyers and sellers just seven days after application.

We are a full service agency offering a wide array of insurance options from over 20 national and regional carriers including: Chubb, Travelers, Westfield, Safeco, Donegal and Harleysville. Their full line of products includes: homeowners, automobile, umbrella, flood coverage, vacant homes, mine subsidence, scheduled personal valuable items, watercraft, recreational vehicles, life, health, and commercial insurance. Howard Hanna Insurance Services also offers 24-hour claims service, so they are there when you need them most.
